OSU Names Helen Diggs as Director of Veterinary Teaching Hospital

Helen Diggs, a nationally recognized leader in veterinary medicine and animal welfare, has been named director of the Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Oregon State University. OSU Receives Gates Foundation Grant of Nearly $1M for Tuberculosis Research

The Agricultural Research Foundation of Oregon has announced grants totaling $373,760 for projects in agriculture, pharmacy and veterinary medicine at Oregon State University.
Hall Wins USDA/CREES Grant

Dr. Jean Hall has been awarded a grant from USDA/CREES for $354,464 for her research proposal, "How does selenium function as an immunonutrient?" She and Dr. Neil Forsberg are co-investigators on the study.
Dr. Villarroel Visits World Congress in Budapest

Dr. Aurora Villarroel was among more than 2,000 veterinarians from 72 countries at the XXV World Congress of Buiatrics (the largest venue dedicated to veterinary medicine for cattle)in Budapest, Hungary, July 6-11.
